What is our greatest need?
Over the next 12 months (July 2023-June 2024) the House of Life Mama and Baby Shelter needs temporary monthly subsidies to cover operating expenses for food, education, prenatal vitamins, meds, utilities, staff, transportation and everything needed to care for five pregnant teens and the birth of their babies. This includes all their therapy and training in order for them to raise healthy babies.
We expect to host between 10 and 15 short-term mission teams in 2024.
The Income generated from team visits and continued support from the new team members that know our work first hand will carry us forward and self-sustain the House of Life.
How much do we need monthly?
For phase 1 with five girls we need $3000 per month.
The actual costs are more but we are using some of our current staff who can handle the extra load for the first five girls and as many volunteers and local donations as possible. What the $3000 does not cover, we know that God will as this is His beautiful amazing shelter.
